Môn đệ tính là một trong những chủ đề trọng tâm của Tin Mừng Máccô, bắt đầu với lời mời gọi bước theo Đức Giêsu và sau đó là việc dấn thân khám phá những phức tạp liên hệ đến việc trở thành người môn đệ đích thực cả về phương diện thể lý và thiêng liêng. Bài viết dưới đây là một nỗ lực của người viết nhằm tìm hiểu và phân tích tính môn đệ trong đoạn Tin Mừng Máccô (Mc) 10,46-52, ở một bối cảnh văn bản rộng hơn từ Mc 8,22-10.52, khi Đức Giêsu chất vấn các môn đệ về căn tính của Người. Ngoài đoạn dẫn nhập và kết luận, phần thứ nhất sẽ đề cập sơ lược cấu trúc văn chương, bản văn và bối cảnh. Và phần thứ hai sẽ phân tích sâu vào bản văn nhằm hiểu thông điệp của Máccô muốn chuyển tải, diễn tả cụ thể hành trình người môn đệ bước theo Đức Giêsu về mặt thể lý đến hành trình bước theo Chúa Kitô trên con đường khổ giá và phục sinh.
Abstract
Discipleship is one of the central themes of the Gospel of Mark, beginning with the call to follow Jesus and then moving into a committed exploration of the complexities involved in becoming a true disciple, both physically and spiritually. The article below is an effort by the writer to examine and analyze discipleship in the Gospel passage of Mark (Mk) 10:46–52, within the broader textual context of Mark 8:22–10:52, where Jesus questions His disciples about His identity. Apart from the introduction and conclusion, the first part will briefly address the literary structure, the text, and its context. The second part will then analyze the text in depth in order to understand the message that Mark seeks to convey—concretely portraying the journey of the disciple following Jesus on the physical level through to the journey of following Christ on the way of the cross and resurrection.
