Living Faithfully to One's Prophetic Calling is a Constant Invitation for Every Christian. However, living in accordance with one's prophetic calling is not always easy, especially when facing the adversities of life. The analysis of the prophecy of the prophet Ezekiel in Ezekiel 24:15-24 is an effort by the author to depict an image of a prophet who remains faithful to his mission despite encountering numerous challenges, in order to benefit his community. In this article, the author sequentially presents the historical, social, temporal, and geographical contexts in which the prophet Ezekiel carried out his mission. Following that, there are analyses of the text and an exploration of the significance of the prophet Ezekiel's actions for the people. From these insights, the author draws lessons to help contemporary Christians emulate Ezekiel's faithful living in accordance with their prophetic calling.References
