This article explores the biblical and theological significance of the theme “Word into the Land”, emphasizing the dynamic relationship between God’s Word and human culture. Beginning with scriptural foundations, it examines the dual symbols of “Word” as the creative and life-giving power of God, and “Land” as both creation and human history. The study highlights the interaction of Word and Land as a movement of grace, drawing on prophetic metaphors and the parable of the sower to underline the fruitfulness of God’s Word when received in openness. Special attention is given to the inculturation of the Gospel in Vietnam, tracing its growth from missionary efforts to contemporary challenges within a predominantly non-Christian culture. The article concludes with theological reflections on the Incarnation as the perfect model of “Word into the Land,” inviting the Vietnamese Church to embrace adaptation, renewal, and mission in the light of God’s enduring Word.
