Abstract

This study focuses on surveying the catechism learning status of pre-postulants and postulants of the Missionaries of Faith Vietnam during the 2024–2025 academic year. The research sample includes 29 students currently participating in the Pre-postulancy and Postulancy programs. The results indicate that although the students are aware of the importance of continuing catechism education after completing the basic catechism program, most of them have discontinued their studies due to various personal reasons and circumstances. The study proposes concrete measures to help them recognize the purpose of self-training after completing the basic catechism program, define their role in this process, and identify necessary actions to maintain and cultivate their catechetical knowledge in daily life.
