Abstract

This study focuses on examining and evaluating the mission implementation of Philosophy students at Saint Alphonsus Academy during the 2024–2025 academic year. The mission is not only a responsibility but also an opportunity for students to grow in their faith and knowledge. Through a quantitative research method using survey questionnaires, the research team collected and analyzed data from 48 students, reflecting their real experiences in carrying out their mission. The results indicate that students have participated in various pastoral activities such as teaching catechism, youth ministry, caring for the poor, accompanying migrants, and working with minority groups. Although students demonstrate a strong commitment to their mission, they still face significant challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences, limitations in teaching skills, and difficulties arising from the social environment. However, most students perceive a strong connection between studying Philosophy and engaging in mission work, while also receiving positive support from the community. The study proposes several solutions to enhance the effectiveness of mission implementation, including strengthening pastoral training, expanding practical mission opportunities, and promoting support from the Church and the community. The research findings not only provide an overview of the current state of mission activities among students but also contribute to guiding the training and support for missions in the future.
