Liturgy and evangelization appear to be two distinct "activities" situated far apart. The liturgy is typically celebrated solemnly, within a reverent atmosphere, and strictly follows the regulations of the Church. As a result, people outside Christianity rarely have opportunities to engage with the liturgy. Moreover, the liturgy comprises symbolic rituals rooted in a tradition that outsiders often find difficult to grasp. Even among Christians, many practically do not fully "understand" or "feel" the deeper meaning behind the liturgical rites and prayers. How, then, can liturgy meaningfully contribute to the mission of evangelization?References
