The Diligent Wife in Proverbs 31:10-31 An Embodiment of Wisdom And an Invitation to Holistic Educational Development

In the Book of Proverbs, wisdom along with the direction of instruction is presented as a central theme, as a goal to be aimed for. One of the interesting aspects here is that wisdom has been personified, impressively depicted through the image of a woman and the proverbs of wise elders. Then, in the image of the capable wife at the end of the book, in chapter 31:10-31, wisdom is embodied in a lively, concrete, and practical way; and this described embodiment also contains an invitation and orientation for an education system aimed at developing the whole person. This article, through steps of reading, analyzing the text, and reflecting, will be an effort to somewhat explore and present these matters.
