Abstract

The author raises the challenging issues of abortion and euthanasia in modern society. Abortion is seen as an act causing harm to human life, whereas euthanasia is situated within the context of individual freedom and humanitarianism. Debates surrounding these two issues are fervent, particularly in the context of the rise of relativism and individualism, along with the widespread trend of secularization. However, this trend threatens the understanding and basic ethical principles of humanity. The author calls for an understanding of the official standpoint of the Church on abortion and euthanasia, emphasizing the significance of the grace of life and the importance of respecting and protecting life as a gift and intention of God, not dependent on human decisions. At the same time, the author encourages the dissemination of this message to help others understand more clearly the value of life and the significance of grace.
