Bài viết này phân tích mối liên hệ giữa Kitô giáo và các truyền thống văn hóa – tôn giáo khác dưới ánh sáng huấn quyền Công đồng Vaticanô II và các văn kiện hậu Công đồng. Tác giả nhấn mạnh rằng mạc khải của Thiên Chúa luôn đi vào bối cảnh văn hóa cụ thể, được thanh luyện và kiện toàn nhờ Đức Kitô. Các văn kiện như Lumen gentium, Ad gentes và Nostra aetate khẳng định sự hiện diện của những giá trị chân thiện mỹ trong các truyền thống tôn giáo, đồng thời nhấn mạnh sứ mạng loan báo Tin Mừng để hoàn tất chúng nơi Đức Kitô. Giáo Hội vừa tôn trọng các giá trị tinh thần và luân lý của các tôn giáo, vừa trung thành với căn tính Kitô giáo qua đối thoại, hội nhập và truyền giáo. Bài viết kết luận rằng đối thoại liên tôn và loan báo Tin Mừng không loại trừ, nhưng bổ túc cho nhau, nhằm xây dựng tình huynh đệ và sự hiệp thông phổ quát trong Chúa Kitô.
Abstract
The article examines the interaction between Christianity and other cultural–religious traditions in light of the teaching of Vatican II and post-conciliar documents. The author emphasizes that God’s revelation always enters concrete cultural contexts, which are purified and fulfilled in Christ. Documents such as Lumen gentium, Ad gentes, and Nostra aetate affirm the presence of authentic values of truth, goodness, and beauty in other religions, while highlighting the Church’s mission to proclaim the Gospel as their fulfillment in Christ. The Church acknowledges and respects the moral and spiritual values of different traditions while remaining faithful to Christian identity through dialogue, inculturation, and evangelization. The article concludes that interreligious dialogue and the proclamation of the Gospel are not mutually exclusive but complementary, fostering fraternity and universal communion in Christ.
