Thánh lễ nhận Thánh Roberto Bellarmino làm Bổn mạng và Bảo trợ
Dear Authors, Readers, and Editorial Board Members,
The Editorial Board of the Journal of Catholic Science & Life respectfully announces:
At 4:30 p.m. on September 19, 2025, at Thien Than Parish (600 Hanoi Highway, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City), the Holy Mass to designate Saint Robert Bellarmine as the Patron and Protector of the Journal will take place.
The Mass will be presided over by Fr. Francis Xavier Nguyen Hai Tinh, SJ.
About Saint Robert Bellarmine (1542–1621): He was a Cardinal, theologian, preacher, and one of the most outstanding professors of the Society of Jesus. With profound intellect, he contributed significantly to defending and developing Catholic doctrine, especially during the Council of Trent. In 1930, Pope Pius XI canonized him, and in 1931, he was declared a Doctor of the Church. He is a shining example of the harmony between faith, science, and life.
Some of Saint Robert Bellarmine’s renowned teachings:
-
“With God, one has everything.”
-
“Remain close to God; learn from Him.”
-
“Only in God can humanity find peace and true happiness.”
-
“Nothing in this life is more important than knowing and loving God.”
-
“The Church is not merely a human institution but the Mystical Body of Christ.”
-
“True faith must be expressed through charity and justice in everyday life.”
Following the Mass, the Editorial Board warmly invites all guests to join a fellowship meal.
